Brisbane.

We’re here.

I can’t believe it.

The ultimate destination we talked about for so long.

We certainly took the long way around.

But, we made it.

Australia.

Wow!! You did it!! The 3 of you look so happy & relaxed in that photo over drinks. Your photos were awesome. Good job, first mate, good job!! You have an awesome Captain! Everyone I talked to/emailed prayed for good weather/favorable winds. I’m glad God heard our prayers & it made for a nice quick crossing. Talk to you soon! Love to you all, MOM

Congratulations to you, Matt and Jon! What a fantastic accomplishment. Thanks again for sharing your experiences (both the good AND the bad) with all of us armchair sailors. It’s been really fun to follow your voyage. Best of luck to you and Matt as you embark on your next adventure. 🙂

Glad to see you all arrived safely in Brisbane. I doff my cap to you (or I would if I actually wore hats). Nice job. So… can I buy your Valiant? Seriously, I am really impressed with your achievement.

Congratulations on your successful voyage! If you guys are back in the Bay Area before January we’d love to take you out for a drink 🙂

Congratulations to all 3 of you! Thank you again for sharing all your adventures with us. Even though we have never met, we talk about the Syzygy crew every time we go to Hamilton’s in San Diego (thanks for the tip from your blog!). Cheers! Karen and Shawn (s/v Siesta)

Really enjoyed following your and Syzygy’s blog for the last several months. I don’t know how much I would have enjoyed cruising if we were on the same schedule you’ve been on. Our course might be taking it the other extreme though as we are only now getting ready to head to Mazatlan and we left the Bay area 15 months ago. Good luck with all your future plans. Maybe we’ll see you out there somewhere again someday.
